Training materials for the Food Flair™ Early Learning Practitioner’s Resource were developed in response to the need for more in-depth information on the rich content of Food Flair. The training materials include comprehensive PowerPoint presentations that focus on a specific aspect of the resource, which has been developed as an individual Module, shown below.
The Modules will be useful to Childcare Resource and Referral agencies, Childcare Licensing Agents, Health Authority staff and others who provide training to early learning practitioners, as well as to early learning practitioners themselves. Practitioners and trainers can select the Module(s) they would like to focus on in their presentation. In addition, they may decide to develop their own presentation by choosing specific slides from the Modules that would be of interest to their audience. Presentation information is most suitable for practitioners who are working with young children and families.
Each Module contains:
- An introduction and overview of the module
- A Presentation
- An overview of the Module presentation and speaking notes for the presenter
- Supplementary Materials for presenters to use during the presentation
