Building Resilient Workers

Building Resilient Workers: Health and Safety at Work is a workforce literacy curriculum. Decoda Literacy Solutions with the support of the BCFED Health & Safety Centre and WorkSafeBC developed it in 2015. The curriculum has been revised to update the links.

It consists of five modules that cover:

  • rights and responsibilities at work,
  • hazards in the workplace,
  • workplace First Aid,
  • ergonomics, and
  • workplace violence.

Reading, writing and oral communication activities are embedded in the workplace health and safety content.
