I've been a Board Member of Atlin's Literacy Now, since its inception. It has been a joy to see how inventive programs, with a moderate influx of money, can "change the world". Trudy Ewing is our staff member. She has worked with enthusiasm, and with the zeal of a committed worker. Without her energy, these programs would not have succeeded. I am thankful for Literacy Now and for a devoted staff member. Good job everyone!

My students and I have enjoyed many aspects of Decoda through the passing years. We have excitedly joined and taken part in many competitions and events. This has helped my students, who are new immigrants and refugees, feel, that they belong and are part of the community, in the bigger picture of our Canada.

As I scrolled through the photos and the milestones I smiled. So much passion - so much commitment. I am always amazed at the energy of the folks at Decoda and their ability to help with any question. As well, there have been many opportunities to connect with LOCs from across the province. Sharing ideas is our strength - and there are so many offers to help each other! Best wishes to the next 10 years and on from there. Warmly, Sharon Crowley
