Let’s Play! Activities for Families

Let’s Play! Activities for Families is a new package of resources developed by the BC Ministry of Education for parents and caregivers who want to support their child’s early learning through play. Each booklet contains four play activities that include all the details needed to do each activity and an explanation of how the activity supports children’s development. The activities are connected to the BC Early Learning Framework.

Set 1: Focusing on engagement with others, materials, and the world

Set 2: Focusing on Communication and Literacies

Set 3: Focusing on Identities, Social Responsibility, and Diversity

Set 4: Focusing on Well-Being and Belonging

These are a good resource for family literacy programs, early child care settings, and parents.
