Practitioner Badges
Information about the skills needed to obtain practitioner badges is embedded within each one.
The IPALS Credential badge (Parents as Literacy Supporters in Immigrant Communities) is issued following successful completion of IPALS facilitator training.
The Reading Tutor badge is a community developed badge. It is designed for those who are trained to tutor reading with children, including those who are trained to tutor in Decoda’s Fostering Literacy program.
The Intro to Family Literacy Trainer badge is issued to literacy practitioners who are trained to facilitate Intro to Family Literacy workshops. The Intro to Family Literacy badge is issued to workshop participants.
