Intro to Computers Workbook 2011/2012

This workbook supports a 3 hour session introducing adult students to computer basics, including the parts of a computer, how to use basic computer applications in Windows 7, typing and editing text, using specific keystrokes and using Word for specific applications.  Includes a lesson plan, with 12 lessons for practitioners on these topics.  Students need basic skills before participating, such as knowing the basic parts of a computer (the screen, keyboard and mouse) and how to use a mouse (double click, right-click). This project was funded by Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program, and is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.5 Canada License.
