Stay ‘N’ Play
Preschoolers are busy. And, now that so many preschoolers are staying home, parents of preschoolers are extra busy, finding that balance of activities that keep their children engaged and healthy.
Want to try bubble painting? How about indoor golf? Does kitchen music sound like fun? Look in Stay ‘N’ Play for these and many more ideas. In response to the need for families to stay at home, Mothers Matter Centre, home of the HIPPY family literacy program in Canada, has developed a weekly guide for parents. Each guide contains a week’s worth of activities that include daily physical activity, playtime, creative time, learning time, family time and screen time ideas. No special materials are required; parents can adapt the activities to what is available at home.
Five guides have already been released, so there are a lot of activities to choose from already. A new guide will be released every week. Find all the guides here.
