The Tutor-Learner Relationship

Literacy practitioners are looking for alternate methods for training volunteer literacy tutors. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the need. This session is part of a series of virtual tutor training sessions. These sessions are a first step to develop a current, relevant training for literacy programs that can be delivered in a variety of formats. This session will explore the tutor and adult learner relationship and will help tutors create a positive learning experience for all involved. This slide presentation is intended to accompany the Adult Literacy Program: Virtual Tutor Training guidebook.
