Common Sense Media Resource Hub

With schools closed and social distancing in effect, there will be opportunities for children to spend more time indoors and online. If they’re going to be online, they can be connected to good quality media. For recommended, age-appropriate media and online education choices to use from home, Common Sense Media has created a COVID-19 Resource Hub.

One page contains links to Resources for Families During the Coronavirus Pandemic. In addition to links to recommended learning at home resources, it offers guidance on understanding COVID-19 news coverage and how to stay calm for yourself and your kids.

There’s a separate page with Resources for Educators During the Coronavirus Pandemic. It contains free tips and tools for virtual learning as well as resources for digital citizenship and well-being.

Common Sense Media is a trusted source for reviews on movies and TV, books, apps and games for a wide range of ages. What to Watch, Read, and Play While Your Kids Are Stuck Indoors is a sample.
