Talking is Teaching Resources for Parents

Are you looking for easy to use resources to share with parents and caregivers? Talking is Teaching Themed Content Bundles might have what you’re looking for. These resources are designed to help parents and other adults build young children’s brain and language development through talking, reading and singing. They offer ideas for simple, daily interactions with big impact.

Each bundle is based on a child-friendly, high interest theme. Seasons, weather, books and reading, cars, play, feelings, food, shapes and patterns, and music are some of the topics covered. Thirty themed bundles are available now and more are being developed.

Each theme includes a calendar of activities, book and video recommendations, a poster, sample media posts and graphic, and a tip sheet with background information.
