Digital literacy involves more than knowing how to use a digital device. It also includes learning how to keep devices and your personal information safe.
October is Cyber Security Awareness Month! This year the focus is on keeping devices (phones, computers, networks and smart devices) secure. Each week will focus on one device and offer tips for keeping it and the information on it safe.
There are Canadian tools you can use for teaching and learning about cyber security. Here’s a sample:
